Overview

The USB-C 12V Power Module provides a simple way to power models, dioramas and miniature electronics from a modern USB Type-C power supply.

The module negotiates a 12 V USB Power Delivery profile from a compatible USB-C PD power supply and makes the resulting 12 V supply available through a JST-PH connector.

This makes it possible to use readily available USB-C power adapters and power banks instead of requiring a dedicated 12 V power adapter, while keeping the connection to the model compact and easy to disconnect.

Designed as part of the Tiny-FX power ecosystem, it provides a convenient power entry point for lighting controllers, effects and other 12 V electronics.

Important: the connected USB-C power source must support a 12 V Power Delivery profile.
